Tony Young

Anthony Young, a seasoned healthcare executive with over 40 years of experience, is a senior advisor of Northmarq’s National Healthcare Group (NHG), where he advises on matters related to healthcare delivery and system strategy, provider joint venture partnerships, payor strategies, provider gap analysis, and act as system liaison. Anthony is instrumental in training NHG brokers on the business of healthcare delivery and how the real estate infrastructure is used to support it. He has served as a hospital CEO primarily in Oklahoma, in addition to work in Florida, Louisiana, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Mississippi and North Carolina.

Over the course of his career, Anthony founded two hospitals — a 180-bed acute care facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma (SouthCrest, a.k.a. Hillcrest Hospital South) and a 60-bed long term acute care facility (Select Specialty Hospital) — demonstrating his capability to spearhead major healthcare initiatives and ventures. In addition, he was instrumental in facilitating the sale of two hospital operating companies and has extensive experience creating and structuring healthcare provider joint ventures.

Having led ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), physician clinics and diverse healthcare organizations, Anthony understands the full spectrum of delivering patient care and brings deep industry expertise and insight. His proven track record in healthcare operations, strategic growth and facility development will support the National Healthcare Group and enhance the level of service the NHG is able to provide to Northmarq’s clients in navigating the challenging and rapidly evolving healthcare real estate landscape.
