GASTONIA, N.C. (April 11, 2025) — Northmarq’s Charlotte Multifamily Investment Sales team led by Managing Director Eric Liebich and supported by Ron Corrao, Scott Fuller, Matt Weinstein, Dane Lozier and Dominic Bologna successfully led the $1.7 million sale of a roughly 8.35-acre development tract for the planned Bolding Street Lofts — an affordable housing community at 306 Bolding St. in Gastonia, N.C.

The Northmarq brokerage team sourced the seller and the buyer off-market. The buyer was Wynnefield Forward, LLC — a prominent North Carolina-based developer of new construction affordable multifamily apartment communities. The seller was a private owner.

The planned development will be branded as the Bolding Street Lofts and will feature six three-story buildings totaling 168 units across a variety of one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans. The community will also include a clubhouse, picnic and grilling area, playground area and a dedicated surface parking lot.

It is roughly two miles from downtown Gastonia and roughly 26 miles from Uptown Charlotte.
