Deon Green

Deon Green serves as Vice President in Northmarq’s Dallas office, where he specializes in originating debt and arranging equity investments. While he works with a diverse range of clients, his primary focus is on multifamily transactions nationwide. Deon’s expertise extends beyond deal structuring — his strong analytical skills, honed during his early career as a Fannie Mae underwriting analyst, enable him to bring a deep understanding of financial complexities to every transaction.

Prior to joining Northmarq, Deon began his career as a Fannie Mae underwriter within the Northmarq umbrella. During this time, he developed a strong foundation in financial analysis, underwriting, and due diligence processes. Deon also toured numerous multifamily assets, further deepening his knowledge and expertise in the sector. After approximately three years as an underwriter, he transitioned to the production team at Northmarq’s Dallas office. Within two years of joining the origination team, Deon was honored with the Analyst of the Year award.

Deon is also a member of The Real Estate Council (TREC), where he served on the Associate Leadership Council (ALC), as well as the African American Real Estate Professionals (AAREP). He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of South Carolina and an Master of Science degree in Management from Southern Methodist University. He remains actively involved with SMU through the Folsom Institute for Real Estate and the Life After Ball program.
